We are part way up the route here. Linda is tied in to a bolt and is feeding rope from the coils to Lee as he leads the second pitch. If Lee slips, she will bring her right hand down and the rope will lock in the belay device.

Great shot. It really shows her concentration and the steep terrain. You forgot to mention that she'll probably be thrown face first to the rock is Lee falls!
