Day 2: New Bison and Old Faithful

This day we were on our own. We began with a stroll through West Yellowstone and picked up box lunches at the Branch. We enjoyed looking at many of the decorative painted bison that are placed throughout the town. We then drove into the park and visited many of the geothermal attractions on our way to Old Faithful Geyser. We saw literally hundreds of bison, including many calves, and many elk throughout the park.
