All good things must end, and we were saddened that this was our last day on beautiful Maui. That being said, the last day of a vacation is still part of the vacation, and we enjoyed this one to the max.

After an invigorating morning walk along the shoreline, we had another fabulous breakfast at the resort. We also spent some time exploring other parts of the resort. There's a lot to see and do here!

Our inter-island shuttle took us back to Honolulu where we learned that our flight back to the mainland was delayed by an hour. All civilian flights were grounded while the Thunderbirds, the Air Force aerobatics team, practiced at the airport for an event that weekend. Although we were inside the terminal, we were able to watch and photograph them. It was an unexepected treat!
