| On Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, Ed and Frizz traveled to the Prescott Arizona Kennel Club's dog show in Chino Valley. Our mission was to retrieve "Leo," a three year-old Komondor. Dick Greaver of Big Dog Rescue in California was showing some of his big dogs (or at least his beautiful Irish Wolfhound bitch) at the Chino Valley event and he was kind enough to bring Leo along for Frizz to foster. While we were at the show, we browsed around and watched some of the conformation trials, most notably for the Afghan Hounds. But the biggest treat was to meet sweet Leo and bring him home with Frizz. BREAKING NEWS: As of September 30, Leo has been adopted by Frizz and Ted. This is the forever home that this lovely big boy deserves, where he'll be loved to the max. |
