We traveled to San Francisco in early February, 2011 and while we were there we visited with Jamey, Michele and Emma Don. Emma is now over a year old and is walking. In fact, she'd rather walk than be pushed around in her stroller! One of Emma's favorite games is knocking down the towers of colorful building blocks that her dad dutifully builds for her to knock down. In my opinion, this activity actually is Emma's systematic experimentation with gravity, the existance of which has become ever-more apparent since she discovered walking (and occasionally, falling). I hope that this can be verified after Emma discovers talking in whole sentences. Or perhaps she's just trying to train her dad. One thing is certain, there's never been a sweeter little girl than Emma Don! |
