Dale Chihuly

The Phoenix Art Museum hosted world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly's exhibition, "Installations" March 30 - June 23, 2002. Chihuly's work is truly fantastic. Because flash photography wasn't allowed in the museum, shutter speed for these photos was 1/8 to 1/4 of a second, so some of the images are a bit blurred due to the photographer's unsteady hand.

They are opening a permanent exhibit of a great collection
of his work in Saint Pete, Florida, tomorrow.

You saw the Chihuly show??!!! I am so jealous. I will try to go before it leaves (somewhere around my b-day from what I remember).

I love these Chihuly pics! They remind me of the installation at the V+A museum on London, last year. Absolutely stunning creations and all made from glass!
