This is the amphitheater for TEXAS! performances. What you see here is the entire stage for the show.
There are also two "stagelets" on either side of the audience. At one point during a thunderstorm
scene in the show, a lightning strike travels down the large notch in the center of the canyon wall,
terminating at the dead tree you see. It is created with a length of flash cord, very closely
duplicating a real lightning strike in flash and BOOM. To say the least, it is a very
memorable occurrence.
