This Cooper's Hawk popped out of the lilac bush about 7 yards from me.
The lilac bush is right next to a bird feeder, and there is usually an
abundance of sparrows and house finches in the bush. Not this morning.
I found out why when this Cooper's appeared. Birds are the Cooper's
Hawk's main entree.
