M1, the Crab Nebula

The raw frames for this image of the Crab Nebula were acquired on a night with below average seeing and transparency. As a result of these conditions, the detail apparent within the pre-processed image of the nebula was low. To enhance the filamentous structures for the final image of this supernova remnant, PixInsight's Deconvolution process was used, followed by the LocalHistogramEqualization process.
