There have been very few opportunities to get out and acquire new images for a few months now. I've spent some time re-processing previous images, including this one, the "Pillars of Creation", which is the central part of M16, the Eagle Nebula.
The original raw images wre acquired four years ago, and processed with Iris software. The result can be seen in this gallery. Those original raw frames, totaling 6-1/2 hours of exposure, were processed this time with PixInsight, and this image was cropped from the center.
