The mausoleum at the Taj Mahal complex, Agra.
Construction of the Taj Mahal complex was begun in 1632 AD by Shah Jahan, Mughal emperor of India, in honor of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Construction was complete 21 years later.
The magnificent white marble mausoleum, which holds the tombs of Jahan and his wife, is the centerpiece of the complex.
