I recently found two series of exposures of the Horsehead Nebula and nearby Flame Nebula that I acquired last winter but never processed until now. The series consist of twenty exposures of four minutes each at ISO 800, taken on 2-Nov-2008 and 17 exposures of eight minutes each at ISO 400, taken on 21-Jan-2009. Both sets of exposures were made with a Canon Digital Rebel XT (350D) at the prime focus of an 8" newtonian reflector, and through a light pollution filter. Focus and guiding were less than optimal in both sets, but the result of combining the two sets is worth keeping.
