My Nikon traveled 2,167 miles, one way and it's going to get used while I am here by the "City by the Bay". I ventured out finding my way down to the Embarcadero and grabbed a shot of the Bay Bridge. More of the same tourist shots but for some reason it felt right. Limited on lens selection (one is better than none) and no tripod so this shot is it, and it'll do just fine parked here on my Pad to fondly look back on. Adding to this is I have never seen this bridge from this vantage point. It's impressive all lit up. Very!
Prior to going out on my evening excursion with camera in hand we were out earlier and one of the persons I sat with was telling me at great length at just how awesome the iPhone7+ is. It's so good evidently that he sold his Nikon D5 Pro level body because nobody in their right mind needs anything more than an iPhone camera. Anything else is just ridiculous. According to him, nobody should have anything but the iPhone Camera... The conversation finally turned away from his opinions and blathering on pro level cameras versus cell phone cameras and all I could think about was throwing his iPhone off the Bay Bridge... Fast forward an hour and I am in this spot. I can tell you for certain a Nikon D4s with a ratty old, dirty lens beats a iPhone 7 days a week and twice on Thursday night at the Embarcadero.... Had the iPhone out performed my Nikon I was going to put all my photo gear for sale or trade on Craigslist San Fransisco for hopes of moving into a iPhone 7 Plus...
