Failure

I am five days into the PaD year and 40% of my photos are of the dogs. Hell, I am 60% on animals because my neighbors cat was a feature, 80% if you count the dead chicken I was slicing up the other day.

I have failed at my attempt to photograph non dog stuff for my 2017 Peso (Photos every so often) project. Actually, I should just call it a PaD as I have shot five straight days and the name is "every so often" Fail!

2017 is shaping up to be a good year photographically. I got a message from a friend this morning with a wild idea for a photo project. I warned against it, but it's a dandy idea (Bruce). We went back and forth on the merits of other great photo projects we missed the boat on. The guy shooting airplanes taking off for 24 hours then stacking the images, Faces of dogs as they go underwater, hell, even dogs eating peanut butter is the subject of a book about to be released later in February. Always so many ideas but never executing or following thru on them. Maybe 2017 is the year. Maybe, should be, could be or whatever- in the mean time I like this picture today.
Nothing but a couple dogs staring at you waiting on dehydrated chicken treats while I'm putting Nikon flashes in a hollowed out tree stump.
