Fiesta Jalapeños is a staple eatery in my town that does Taco Tuesday each week. It always gets big crowds and lots of families to cram into the building for .99 cent tacos. Our town is in the process of a massive taxpayer funded, state assisted road widening project going right through the middle of the city. It should have been done 20 years ago but that's another rant on current and past mistakes in local and state government.
Todays PaD is all that is left of the original location of Fiesta. I went their on their opening night with my daughter and almost every week since they set up shop in our town. The wideing project forced them to move a few blocks away into the typical non-descript suburban strip mall. I hate it. The staff and food is the same and they are great but it's just not the same as this place that is being torn down brick by brick then put into a dump truck and hauled away. Taco Tuesdays just aren't the same....
