A movie called Star Wars came out when I was seven years old. It was unlike anything I had ever seen. I saw Star Wars, Empie and Return of the Jedi like kids today lined up to see Harry Potter movies. In addition to the movies, there were the toys and action figures. Fortunately for me the kid next door had every single thing ever sold or marketed as Star Wars so needless to say I got to play with all his stuff.

Then along came the follow on movies, they sucked. The plots held nothing for me and I could have cared less to see them. Fast forward a bunch of years and I am looking forward to the new release coming out in a few weeks as well as I am playing the new Star Wars Battlefront game on my Xbox One. It's fucking cool.... Right now I am a storm trooper chasing rebels shooting at them. What could be better than squashing a rebellion?

A decade long ago I'd never have imaged I'd be playing anything Star Wars at 40 some years old. Actually, when I was 7, someone that was 45 might as well have been the crypt keeper, dead and old- so I guess I am just lucky to be alive. Back to my game- I have rebels to shoot!
