When looking back on today, it was perfect. I spent the day with my wife and daughters (plus one), my daughters best friend. As we were headed home from dinner we made a detour to go out to the Carlisle Reservation Haunted Walk. We have been doing this for years and it's one of those book marks in the calendar year you just "do". It's a good time and tonight it was very under attended. Some years and the closer you go to Halloween there are literally thousands of people there and waiting in long lines. Tonight it was literally a ghost town...
Spending the evening with hot cider, donuts and getting spooked by a bunch of local teens working the event walking in the autumn night was a good time. I have shot this photo a few times before and again this year it'll be a marker in my PaD effort of being out here at Carlisle. It may be the same thing year after year, but it's these traditions I'll miss when my kids grow up and no longer do with us. I've got a few more years but these are good times right here...
