I find that I am standing on the bank of the Cuyahoga River taking todays PaD nothing more than coincidence with all thats going on in the USA today. Sometimes a photo is in my head the moment I wake up, other days its a struggle. Yesterday I did not even touch my camera due to being glued to the tv watching the struggle and riots in the State of Missouri. My struggle to find a photo is so lame in the big picture of life it's not even funny. Todays photo of this bridge is fitting!
I have tried to empathize with the folks in Ferguson and other similar communities but can't help see them burning every (figurative) bridge they have had extended to them. I can no longer feel sorry or want to help those who refuse to help themselves. It seems that many folks are burning bridges which are making the divide in this country wider...
Cleveland, Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, Ferguson and many other local cities are all smoldering with a divided populous. The loud ones are screaming, yelling, burning things demanding justice while the other side quietly sit by trying to talk or reason to unreasonable people. I think the bridges are unfortunately beyond repair and walls are being built by both sides and soon, no more rivers to cross- but moats to keep each other out?
