Taxi

BWI Airport

Taking a taxi form downtown Baltimore to the BWI airport is always a roller coaster ride. Fast accelerations, hard turns and weaving in and out of obstacles that suddenly appear out of nowhere. Insane speeds and your thinking all sorts of end of life thoughts. Once, it was so bad I yelled at the driver to slow the F*** down. It made no difference, you put your life into some maniacs hands who's had a drivers licenses for about as long as I haven been doing this years PaD.

Taxi rides in an unfamiliar city are (thankfully) often less dangerous than they appear. The drivers may appear insane but they often know the roads and how far they can push the local traffic from having survived them. (And having needed to to make sure that they have an income the following day.) But I'll concede that it can be little consolation when your eyes bug out on a tight corner at 80km/h.
You got the focus on the mirror nicely here.
