They should really make the little stickers you get when you renew your tags into band-aids. Bleeding cash each year in June when I renew all my vehicle registrations. The State seems to have a way to wish you "happy birthday" by getting your money.
In all sincerity, the folks at the local BMV are decent and nice. I feel they appreciate me and my money these days. I just wish some of these funds went to resurfacing roads and not into other pet projects? I remember the first few times I was 18 or 19 and driving POS cars, venturing into the BMV on a early Saturday morning to wait, and wait, and wait and wait and wait some more. It was awful but nowhere near as awful as the workers back then…. I distinctly remember after waiting forever and finally getting your tags walking out into the late summer morning to feel alive and as if I had been given my life back (for another year).
I'd have not even gone in person had I not wanted to change the address on my Drivers License- otherwise I'd have given blood throughout the mail and not in person.
