While I am a prolific poster on Facebook, a text messaging fool and a maestro of cloud based storage and other wireless technology, Pinterest has never been something I ventured into. Much like the aisle at Target with baby stuff or craft supplies. I have no needs there, ever!
Since buying the new home and a already supposed account I had on a Pinterest login linked to Facebook (I don't remember setting it up) Tracy has been showing me hundreds of new ideas and things for the new place. At first I ignored them, then the sheer volume of stuff overwhelmed me. Now, once I got past insane ninja mommy's pitching how to make the perfect lunch for their 1st graders and some things about wicker, candles, puppies, flowers, bathroom storage ideas and 8,000,000 goofy ideas to do on rainy days and got to outdoor patios and fire places- I won't lie, I am thinking it isn't a total waste of time. I have already spent about $12,000 in my new patio fireplace since being "pinned" on this insanity but damn if I won't have the ultimate outdoor living space…
I'll never give a rats ass about using baking soda to get my grout clean or the other 1 trillion other "we should do this" pins but there is a certain usefulness to some of this stuff….
And should you disagree i'd simply say: Don't judge!
