Here are some shots of lightning in Morgan Hill (taken in late summer of 2003). Unfortunately, I didn't have a tripod with me when I took these photos and therefore had to improvise. Some people have asked me how I took these pictures. It is quite easy to do: put your camera in bulb mode and hold the shutter open until a lightning bolt strikes, then close the shutter. Use a wide angle lens if possible to capture more area thereby increasing your chances for a better shot.
