This trail crosses a short section of desert to the Bofecillos Creek. It follows the creek upstream into a box Canyon ending at a weeping wall. Well worth the hike. By the way, this trail head is quite a ways into the park on forest service type roads. Read dirt/gravel and quite rough in places. Would need to be careful if you are in a vehicle with low ground clearance.
