Western Red Columbine .jpg

Both this and the following "alternative version" were made by combining multiple differently-focused
images using TuFuse Pro. In the case of this one, I used all of the focus planes needed to define the
full flower. In the "alternative version" I used only the two planes needed to bring the central
parts in focus.

I'd appreciate comments and an indication of preference for one or the other (if either), and reasons
why. Thanks!

An interesting technique - sort of the focal plane equivalent of HDR. I prefer this image since it inckudes a wider range of focal planes and thus displays the power of the technique to a higher degree - I know that is a technical rather than an artistic reason, but there you go. Thanks for sharing.
