Very faint spheroidal dwarf galaxy in the Local Group of galaxies, discovered only in 1954, it is a satellite of our Milky Way, a member of the Local Group 280,000 light years distant. It has a very high mass to luminosity ratio, suggesting vast quantities of dark matter. It is nearly dust free, containing very little interstellar matter. It is one of the faintest known galaxies. I've never been able to determine the boundaries of this galaxy, though NED lists it at 35.5 x 24.5'
This was a mixed focal length effort combining recently taken luminance data from 9.25 Edge with older color data from the SVR 90.
