The Dead Sea in the Jordan Valley is the deepest spot in the world it lies about 400 meters below sea level. The water is so salty that no fish can live in it .
The water is so heavy that swimmers float on it and can read a newspaper without any effort.
It is very rich in natural minerals and salt , its mud has theraputic effect for many skin diseases. These are some shots taken at dusk and sunset from Jordan, on the other side you can see the mountains of Palestine and Jerusalem.
