The UP5 panels are connected to the Digitrax system by “daisy-chaining” a loconet cable between each UP5 panel and other Digitrax items such as DS64, SE8c, and BDL168 cards. The loconet cable merely plugs into the back of one of two ports on a UP5 panel. A second cable is attached to the remaining port and it runs to the next panel.
