There is a great and physical feeling I get from this image - it is silent and beautiful

Impossible in camera, yes, but photographers have been manipulating their images forever. All's fair as far as I'm concerned, and you own up to it. The surreal feel to this is what I like about it. The water on the rocks seems almost metallic, and the orangey-rust color is a perfect compliment to the blue in the sky. It goes beyond the 'pretty' image by leaps and bounds.

However it was made, whatever 'cheats' you used, and even if there *are* tiny imperfections, this is undeniably a gorgeous image.

It looks great David. Somethings fishy about the horizon as well...Almost sure the sky itself is another layer as well....Who cares anyway it a great shot

No I think if you were to centre it more it would lose its balance...i like it just the way it is......

it's not that I dont like landscapes, I just never seem to be near them!
cheatmoon: meaning I cut and paste it from another exposure. I think I placed it too far to the left, looking at the reflection. As far as I know this would be impossible as one exposure(?)

For someone who says they do not really like landscapes Dave this is bloody nice. I dont know what 'cheatmoon' is but Im about to find out BIG VOTE
