Sweetness, I thought. I'd taken a picture only intending to capture the busy-ness in the open area of our local mall. When I looked closely later at the image, I saw the child and the shadow of his mother's arms waiting for him at the end of his sprint. I couldn't help but smile at the feeling of immense security and love he must have felt - and I also knew intimately the spirited joy the mother had been experiencing.
