Sounds like an American Goldfinch. A warbler would not be eating Black-eyed Susan seeds, but a Goldfinch would love them.

Just saw what I identified as a wilson's warbler feeding what i guess is a juvenile. "juv" appeared to be same size, similar black markings, but where adult was yellow, juv was similar to sparrow color. they were eating the black eyed susans that had had gone to see. Am I correct in my assumption?
