Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (juvenile)

The touches of red were not visible two weeks ago when I first saw this bird (or possibly a sibling). I know there are at least two juvenile sapsuckers visiting this crabapple oustide my dining room. The tree is riddled with sapsuckers holes, some more than 15 years old. I hope the Sapsuckers stay long enough that I can see them change to adult plumage.

Very nice capture. The delicate touches of red on his crown are so sharp.
