Photo taken in a grassy area near the cliffs at Fowlsheugh. There are a number of ground-nesting birds in this area, and, being unfamiliar with European birds, I found it challenging to identify them. The Twite is on the left. Earlier I guessed that it was a Skylark, but a helpful birder visiting this gallery suggested that it was a Twite.
