Three variations of wristpin retaining clips:
o Thin interior wire clip, ’70 to early-‘77
o Thick interior wire clip, early-’77 to early-‘78
o Exterior circlip, ’78-and-later

Use a small pick or screwdriver to remove the interior wire clip. Use circlip pliers on the circlip.
