Thanks for comments. Its interesting setting up these still lifes as you get an inkling of the sort of things Advertising photographers must be looking at other than the obvious lighting/focal point- specs of dust spoiling the look, finding the best arrangement etc
Very imaginative. I love the texture in the swab heads and the shallow DOF.

I love this image! I'm not sure if it is the perspective that conjures up what may lie outside or the subtle shading or the detail of the fibres but it encapsulates the essence of macro.
