I was sitting at my desk in the lab today, when Sandip said, "What is that in your hair? Is it a leaf of a bug or something?"
A quick sweep of hand through hair dislodged this little visitor, who must have landed on me while I bicycled to work today.
This was not a happy bee. It sat here, quite stunned appearing, and barely moved an antenna when I shot this with the flash.
It stubbornly clung to the paper when I tried to dislodge it into a little box for transport, so stayed on the paper inside the box for the trip outside. Once outside, it perked up a little, and headed up a stalk of grass quite purposefully.
I swear this was coincidence unrelated to this weeks' theme.
