Hi Nancy, you got in closer this time and the detail is definitely there although it might be a little soft. An alternate way to have shot this would have been a 30 to 40 degree angle to the branch and utilizing the DOF to force the eye to focus on one set of thorns. There are a couple of examples in the entries for this challenge that use that technique. The exposure, natural colors, and contrast are very good in this image.
