Catch a Falling Star
by Laura Milholland

Las Gallinas Wildlife Ponds, San Rafael, CA

... and put it in your pocket; save it for a rainy day."
Yes, in truth this is a jet stream, but I liked the thought of it being a falling star.
The wildlife ponds just after the sun went down. . . .

Pretty post sunset shot. You can still see the warm glow of the setting sun as day turns into night. In her youth, my older sister was a big Perry Commo fan. She still listens to the song over and over and over again. That's why I know it well. Yes, the jet trail does look like a shooting star. Nice thinking. Interesting photo settings. You must have had quite a bit of light.

I like it, very clever and peaceful.
