This coyote was pretty close. The zoom is at 700mm equivalent so about a third of what the P900 can do optically. I'd guess less than 50 feet away. The photo is a slight crop to 8 by 10 format. I think the softness was from my excitement hand holding the camera... possibly moving too quick to take the photo.

Although a little soft for some reason, this is a great memory shot. Is this a crop or was he fairly close? Lovely pose and animal.

Looks healthy and lean! What a fun find, and could have worked for Nature's creatures too!
