10-APR-2017 Liz Bickel

Week #2 : Graptoveria
by Liz Bickel

Metering Mode: Evaluative
EC: Negative 3/4 (-3/4)
Lighting Conditions: Natural Window Light; Clear Day

Other Shooting Factors:
Out-of-the-camera image, filled the frame: NO CROP
Hand held shot.

Subject size: Tiny 3/8"
Same subject as this
but 13 days more mature; which caused a change in colors and the teeny bell to open.

Other Shooting Information:
Due to the small size of the plant and the itty bitty size of the flowers,
I had to lay on the floor and shoot up into the slightly open, flower bell on the low table.

The pink bokeh in the background is a geranium blossom.

Canon EOS 7D Mark II ,Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro
1/80s f/14.0 at 100.0mm iso2500 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Marvelous, Liz! The angle of the shot is super, I love how it glows, and the pink of the geranium that you made use of for the background is delightful.
