This photo was a challenge in that the auto exposure wants to blow out the sky. So, I used Exposure Compensation to reduce the exposure to keep the sky detailed while not allowing the water and trees to get too dark.

Canon EOS 80D ,Sigma 18-250 macro
1/6400s f/3.5 at 18.0mm iso320 full exif

Beautifully exposed, Dale. However, the image looks a bit soft IMO. Perhaps more DOF would have helped with that.

Nicely done. The sky isn't blown out and you can see the details in the trees.
