Bonner Springs Sunset

I normally don't like seeing a "hot" sun in a sunset photo.
However, it doesn't bother me with the lighting in this image.
It works. The sun is artistically burning a hole in the tree.

I normally don't care for "flare", but I like it in this image.
IMO, it gives depth to the scene.

This is gorgeous! The colors are amazing and the placement of the sun really sets it off. Well done!

Works beautifully as a silhouette - with the something extra of the lovely warm colors and touches of light on the cars. I agree, Liz, that the flare does add nice depth.
