Golden Gate Bridge In Fog

Probably the most notable "icon" in our area is the Golden Gate Bridge.
I snapped this through the windshield of the car as we headed back north out of the City
after meeting our new grandson at the SF hospital where he was born.
The only way to get a shot of one tower behind the other like this is from the car while
driving across the bridge.

Awesome! I drove across the bridge when I was in SF for work a couple of years ago. I so wanted to walk across it, but my "work buddy" just wanted to get back to the hotel. You did a GREAT job of capturing a true icon of the area!

Nice photo. Great San Fran icon. I sailed under the bridge years ago on a small sailboat while on a business trip to the area.

You're right. You need to be toward the center of the road to get this angle. I've walked across the Golden Gate with hopes of getting a shot like this. Unfortunately, the sides don't provide the same angle as you have here. Yes, indeed, the Golden Gate Bridge is definitely one of the most iconic structures from your part of the world!!! Complete with the fog. Great grab shot. Super composition.
