Diffused Light - Variegated Shell Ginger Plant Flower

I have two of these large "tropical" plants in my front yard by the porch. Both are blooming today and in the late evening shade. The plants are huge with beautiful striped green leaves and the flower is most unusual... so I thought the flower would be a good diffused light subject.

What a gorgeous shot. I've never heard of these plants. The colors are gorgeous and the DOF is very nice. Great job!

That's a beauty, Dale. I love how the stripes of the leaves are repeated inside the gold part of the bloom. Very nice composition and nice choice for DOF to give the detail.
