Turtles Sunning Themselves

Not sure what kind of turtles these are but I happened to see these guys out of the water sunning themselves. I personally have never seen anything like this before.

Thanks Laura. I just found out they were "Painted Turtles" and you confirmed it. :-)

Another very fun find, Rosemary. We have groups like this at some ponds - but mostly this large of groups I've only seen in San Francisco. Look up "Painted Turtle" and see what you think. Looks like them to me. . .
