Flying Field
by Breezanemom

Down the road from our house, behind the hospital, is a small park where the men (well 99.99% are men) gather on Sunday mornings to fly their remote control helicopters and airplanes.
The Fire Station is next door to the park and often the FFs will come over to watch.
The one gentleman in the black shirt is a local Police Officer, who started out watching and then wanted to learn how to fly.
The gentleman next to him is the owner of a small hobby shop, where most of the men buy their helicopters, planes and parts. He also does a lot of fixing when the planes, etc. go down.
This really reminds me of the "hometown feel" - a group of people getting together to talk, share a hobby and enjoy a Sunday morning.

Great thinking to show part of what makes your hometown special.

Brings back some very fond memories. I flew model airplanes for several years back about 10 years ago.

That's a nice thing to show the camaraderie of a community. So fun that such hobbies draw people together like this. Very nicely exposed. The slant and curve of the sidewalk bother me a bit, but maybe that's just how they were. . . .
