Week #3 - Superstition Mountains
by Rosemary Woods

Apache Junction, eastern AZ. I have a great affinity for these mountains, once occupied by the Apache Indians. I only wish I had used a little more sky in the shot.

Very nicely shot, Rosemary. Beautiful balance of composition. I personally like this image with less sky and more subject matter. It tells a story. This is an excellent photo. I like it a lot.

I really like the composition and balance of the cacti, mountains, and brush. It is IMHO an excellent desert scene.

Beautifully balanced shot, Rosemary. And the light is nice, still allowing for pleasing shadows. I agree with Lisa, no more sky is needed. Terrific composition and very pretty shot.

I like this picture. The browns and greens of the foreground are set off well against the mountains and the sky. I would not want more sky in the shot. I like the way it looks dry and deserted, but also makes you want to go to the mountains and explore to see what is up there and why they are called the Superstition Mountains. Nice job!
