Time Capsule
by epickett

This is in the foundation of the old Wayne County Courthouse. The thing is, the building is now vacant. So will it even be *around* in 2097? It is supposed to have been sold, but STILL...

I hope they keep the building intact so the time capsule can be opened as anticipated. Sadly, though, so many old buildings are razed and newer, uglier ones built on the site.

Is the stone a medium-to-dark gray color? I guess it could be my monitor, though. I also had a hard time reading the sign due to the darkness of the picture. Lightening it up a little might help bring out the texture and colors of the stone and make the sign a little easier to read.

That is a good question! I guess if they raze it, they'll have to open the time capsule early.
