I saw this plethora of pelicans flying high overhead and by the time I could park my car, they were in the distance flying away from me. Fortunately I had my Nikon P900 to zoom in on them. I count 52 in this photo but there were more. The problem was that if I zoomed out to get them all, they were too small... so I got enough that were big enough to be recognizable. I did enough post processing to make the pelicans stand out a bit.
