Early in the month, we have lots and lots of birds flying through with short
stops of a day or two before they move on to their winter grounds.
It's a great time to see birds that are not usually in our area.
That would NOT include these, though - we have Snowy Egrets, Great Blue Herons, and Black-crowned Night Herons year round,
however not in such large numbers as during this migration.
