Week #1 - Abandoned Work Shed
by Rosemary Woods

Was a great morning for taking photos that day. Love all those puffy clouds. We don't see them often but when we do I am out there shooting. Came across this old abandoned work shed. I am assuming that is what it is. There was nothing inside but I liked the white of the building against the blue sky and white clouds...and of course the mountains in the background. What I greatly dislike in photos are power lines and telephone poles. Oh well. At least the old building didn't have any graffiti on it..imagine that. LOL

This is so serene. I like the feelings it emotes.

I love the composition and the colors in this shot. This is the kind of picture I would frame and hang on my wall. The old shed and the bare tree really make it for me.

I very much like this too, Rosemary. As Liz mentioned, lots to like about this. I think my favorite thing is being able to look right through the old building to see the mountain peak. Well that and the addition of the dead tree. It's like the tree and building both lived their lives and are now at their end.

Lovely image, Rosemary. The colors and composition and subject all work together beautifully. The old building stands out, but all the other elements (including the clouds)combine to make this image so nice.
